Digital & Data
I code and build digital tools — primarily in PHP and MySQL — to solve problems, streamline systems, and explore new ideas. Some projects are built for real-world operational use, others are driven by curiosity, and a few exist simply because I enjoy creating things that are useful, elegant, or thought-provoking.
My work spans a broad range of domains: clinical documentation and ePCR integration, real-time operational dashboards, deployment optimisation, booking and triage systems, simulation tools, and workforce analytics. Whether consolidating patient data across providers or modelling ambulance coverage across islands, each solution is designed with clarity, resilience, and real-world usability in mind — often tailored to low-resource settings.
Below are examples of systems I’ve designed and developed — some are now central to daily operations, others began as side projects sparked by a need, a challenge, or a passing idea worth testing.
Single Integrated Patient Care Record
Unified ePCR linked with the Electoral Roll to consolidate patient data across providers, enabling seamless, system-wide continuity of care.
Officer Dashboard
Real-time dashboard showing shift data, clinical interventions, training, fatigue, and performance metrics for frontline operational staff.
Clinical Documentation Handover Portal
Secure portal allowing hospitals and GPs to access prehospital ePCRs, improving continuity, communication, and clinical handover.
NEPT Booking System
Scheduling and triaging non-emergency patient transport.Web-based system to book, track, and manage non-emergency patient transport requests, reducing errors and improving efficiency.
Post Incident Review Simulator
Simulates critical incidents using real data—calls, video, ePCRs, diagnostics—for structured learning and multi-agency reviews.
Dynamic Deployment CAD Integration
Live system optimising ambulance deployments across services to reduce response times and improve coverage in real time.
Fatigue Calculator
Tool estimating fatigue risk for staff based on hours worked, time of day, and shift patterns to support safer workforce planning.
Systems-Based Innovation in Pre-Hospital Emergency Care
Scalable models for ambulance and retrieval care in LMICs, including maritime systems, focused on contextually appropriate design and equitable access in remote or resource-constrained settings.
